DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival is here! Yes, DStv Delicious is back in 2018 and if you haven’t heard by now, where have you been? Taking place over the long weekend on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 September 2018 at the Kylami Grand Prix Circuit in Johannesburg, it’s going to be the place to be!
It’s time to get hyped and ready for the happenings. Need all the info? We’ve got the major FYIs with the 10 things you need to know.
The Venue
All the fun and music will be flowing at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit - corner of R55 & Allendale Road, Kyalami, Midrand, Johannesburg. Gates open at 10:00 and close at 21:00 on Saturday. While on Sunday gates open at 10:00 and close at 20:00.

What about getting there?
You have two main options: drive to the venue or opt for the Gautrain Park and Ride. If you drive to Delicious, please note that there is limited general access parking options – first come, first park basis. Parking payment will be R125. Alternatively, head over to the Midrand Gautrain Station where there will be a courtesy bus to bring you directly to the festival!
Want to Uber? No worries, there will be designated Uber drop off points. Coming from outside of Johannesburg? Remember that you can find some awesome travel and accommodation options with Flight Centre.
We’re going cashless
It’s strongly suggested that you embrace the super quick and easy option of tap and go. Simply tap your VISA card and payment is done in moments! Why not try it out at Delicious to see why it’s the favoured payment option.

Vodacom Kids Zone
While you taste the food and vibe to the music, the little ones can have all the fun too in the Vodacom Kids Zone. There will be trained child minders inside the kids Zone to look after and entertain kiddies between the ages of 3 and 12 while you enjoy the Festival.
Kids can take part in the Boogie Woogie Bake Off or have an adventure with the climbing wall, trampolines, inflatables and a ton of other action activities! To be a kid again. Get the tickets for your kids right now.

What to expect
Expect a good time that will serve FOMO to all of your friends on your newsfeed. Yup, the DStv Delicious Festival is one of those events you can’t miss out on. Take a ton of photos and tag us in the happenings! If you didn’t post a photo or video, were you even there!?
What to bring with
We’ve got you covered with the necessities! Bring along sun cream, a cap/hat, sunglasses, something warm for the evening, a camera for all the photos, ID Book /Driver’s License, your festival tickets and your Visa contactless enabled card for tap and go payments.
Remember, umbrellas and camp chairs are allowed to be brought in to the festival. Whereas beverages – alcoholic or non-alcoholic of any kind including bottled water; food of any kind; drugs; firearms; glass; picnic baskets; professional photography and videography equipment and drones are strictly not allowed.
What about the weather?
Fun, food and music! The weather will be great so step out in your spring style but don’t forget a jacket for when it gets cooler in the evening. Even if Mother Nature decides to be a little unpredictable, let’s all make a pact to not let wind or rain stop us all from having the best time ever!
