Our techies have confirmed that the TV model is compatible. The OS is up to date. Our techies are investigating.
It's a Samsung UA55KU7000K with the internal firmware version 1231.
DSTV Now version is 1.1.8.
Tried searching for similar issues but not with any success.
I have DSTV Now app running on a Samsung UHD Smart TV.
App was working fine, until the beginning of this year:
1. Registered (code input to activate app) app is opened up.
2. After browsing and selecting content, app stumbles and does weird things (randomly start playing other live channel, not the content I want). App freezes and I have to do a hard "shut down" of app.
3. Once app is rebooted, it brings me to the code-based screen where I have to go activate the app via DSTV website.
This has happened more than 10 times this month and is really frustrating. Not sure if there was a general Samsung TV update that has affected this?
I also uninstalled/reinstalled the DSTV Now app to no avail.
Some feedback / input would be appreciated.
Generally, the app did as expected but not anymore.
