Another e-TV EPG screwup!

Re: Another e-TV EPG screwup!

As a follow up to this.  Both series scheduled recordings took place last night and tonight. I presume this is because of the record two capability of the 4 tuner decoders. The content of both recordings is the same, even though the one setting should have not taken place.

A curiosity that is all. I have now deleted the invalid setting

Another e-TV EPG screwup!

As of today, the EPG information for e-TV channel 194, again demonstrates how poor the EPG info is maintained.

For the holidays, we have had programs running in the 20:30 - 21:30 timeslot every day.

Now the normal series are all back, a different one for each day of the week.

These are all marked as "series enabled". The holiday series came to an end on Friday. Yet this morning, in this timeslot, that series show as being scheduled AND the new series of the program Chicago Med, also shows it has been scheduled for recording. Season 2 episode 8 - although there is some uncertainty if this is correct.

Will someone at MC please explain how this can even happen? How can a series that no longer exists record on the same channel with a new series?

And BTW, the problems with series' where an insert ( for the Lotto draw on Tuesdays and Fridays) in the middle will still lead to an SBR setting only recording the first half of the episode, completely ignoring the second, making setting an SBR worthless on e-tv on a Tuesday and Friday!
