@Jan-Horn  - when you run the connectivity checker -does it give you a green tick next to CatchUp Plus? And have you maybe tried re-setting the router to force a new connection between it and the Explora?

Thanks for the feedback Krugie. 

I scheduled E3 4 & 5 of Coroner on the 3A and that went though with no problem. 

However The 2A still show show no progress the VOD status and download manager show no change  from the two screen's I posted. I really need the input and intervention from MC to sort this out. Every thing form this side seem to be in order and only MC can tell if this problem is still their server problem experienced over the past few days.

I've managed to view a few items today without any further errors. The last problems I had were on Sunday morning.

Well it seem that the moderators are not interested to helping with the problems experienced by a multitude of their clients. with CU+

The download which I started on the 3A also ended up withe a HTTP 504 error.

@Kagiso_DStv1 @Grace_DStv1  @Thoko_DStv1 any one of the Mods. Please respond to this thread. There are at least 5 subscribers on this platform alone that are experiencing problems with Catchup plus. Not to mention those that are trying to get help on your social media help and other platforms

The standard call centre and social media response of 

 

Kindly troubleshoot the decoder.

• Switch off the decoder from the main plug

• Unscrew the LNB Cables

• Wait for few minutes (Approximately 2-3 minutes) then

• Screw back the LNB cables

• Switch decoder on again

Let us know how it goes.

 

is not good enough we would like this resolved.

I think that the answer to the problem lies in the thread that Krugie posted under CU. He is experiencing http 504 gateway timeout problems on his Explora's on CU+

I do not have the patience and to deal with this through a call centre and the cell phone call cost would be prohibitive. I can live with the problem until it is sorted out. I have  send a PM to Grace asking for assistance with a link to this thread.

In light of the other post I am sure that the problem lies with the MC server and they should sort it out sooner or later

@Jan365041 also get the 504 error so it seem I am not alone in my quest.

Unfortunate timing mentioning it today with the current problems being experienced by others.

I presume you'll wait and see as you don't have a service centre there. Maybe a call centre specialist can work it out enough.

I am on premium for more than 25 years and the problem started on a week ago.  The message on the second screen shot has been there since 5 Jul

CU+ only works for Premium.

 

If reseting an Explora's online services, note that any CU+ downloads and history info will be lost.

Usually it's them, best to wait it out.
