Unfortunately, only the "original" setting offers that info...Roll Eyes (Sarcastic).jpg

(Then determined by what your TV tells you if it can.)

I guess we'll have to ask Geoff for such a channel list sometime...  ;-)

But seriously, I would think 1080p is meant for future CU+ and / or Showmax only.

Re: Default Standards Options on Decoders

Indeed! Is there a list available or a means of determining from our side as to which channels are broadcast 720p and/or 1080i (or in any other format)?

Those aren't offered anymore Geoff. I don't think they ever were on the Explora 1.

The software for all the decoders you mentioned tends to be quite similar in these video / audio default respects, so it will be interesting to see if there's any differences at all.

Default Standards Options on Decoders

I am working on an overall comparison of all the decoders available and am looking for info please.

On the HD PVR 4 tuner decoders the display options available are:

Original, Native, 576p, 720p, 1080i.

What is available on the Explora 1, Explora 2A, Explora 3A, HD 4- & 5-series decoders please anyone?
