Re: Explora 2 Ethernet Speed

Hey Geoff,

I did search, but can only find a Quick Help Guide. Also, sorry for the abbreviations. Working with IT (Information techonogy...ha ha) its second nature.

Have a great day.

Re: Explora 2 Ethernet Speed

Thanks all,

Just wanted to check. I have 0 ports left on my gigabit switch, if its only 100mb then i can boot up an older swithc to run the 2 exploras i have just installed.

Re: Explora 2 Ethernet Speed

Remember it being mentioned on the old forum once. Right now it's an educated guess, since I've tested it on a 200Mbps fibre line with the internal network exceeding that. Maxes out around 98 or so. Speedtest from other device connected to the same accesspoint comes in far above 100

Re: Explora 2 Ethernet Speed

Is the "NIC" speed documented anywhere in the manual for the Exploras?

For those of us who hate abbreviations, "NIC speed" in this case presumably means "Network Interface Card data rate".
