All correct.  You will have to convince MC to redo your service authentication to clear this permanently.

 

Could try and clean the SCs to see if there is an issue related to the SCs.

Yep I made sure to check when the installer was here about a year ago and regularly check to see if it stays more ore less the same.

Could it be Cape Town's weather?

Those are good figures!  So it is unlikely that your issue is related to the installation. If we can confirm the UB and network settings we will be sure. You need to get to the installation section to see what the settings are.

 

If those are correct then all that remains is for MC to redo your service authentication.

1.  a serious service authentication issue.

2. Loss of signal on tuner 3 causing service authentication commands not getting through.

 

How about some detail on the install?

Type of LNB, network settings on both decoders, 

Signal levels and quality on all tuners on both decoders.

No PVR Subscription

I am starting to get regular no recording and when I look it states NO PVR subscription and it is on both of my Explora 2A's.
