I'm having this same issue. Each time I try to link my smartcard to my profile; It keeps telling me "Smartcard already linked to another profile".
I have called the customer care several time with no solution. Pls, how do I reset this and get my profile updated with my smartcard.
@PI0811224389 We will have to unlink your current Connect ID with the linked smartcard and re-link your Connect ID with the current smartcard. Please PM us your smartcard number and Connect ID and we will assist.

Getting frustrated with the delays.
Been trying to sort this issue for the past 2 days (via DSTV Support web site, support emails and via Facebook as well) - not a single one responding.
I had an online DSTV account/profile registered a few years ago.
Unfortunately, I have forgotten the login details for it and using the reset option does not work due to the previous email address not being used anymore.
Now I have registered a new online DSTV online account/profile.
However, I get an error message stating "my smart card is already linked to another profile".
What can I do to correct this?
