Re: More Labels Needed

I am not at all sure where to post Broadcast Errors and problems with the EPG.

So presuming these should be posted under Decoders and Packages,  we need labels for Broadcast Errors and EPG Errors.

It would make more sense if there was a section for Broadcast Errors and another For EPG Errors, and then under each we could have labels for the decoders, because sometimes both of the above errors are different for different decoder models.

Labels

Starting this thread as a list of labels that should be added to the forum under the various forums and sub forums.

1. There is no forum for Account Queries where users can raise issues about their accounts, such as payments, subscription problems etc.

2. Under the Decoders and Gadgets section, there are no lables available for use when dealing with the older decoders.  There should be at least a label for the older PVRs still supported by MC, such as the HD PVR2P, and the various single view decoders.

3. @Optimist has suggested that a label called "other" is provided in every section. This will turn into a dog's breakfast if there are no suitable labels to use.

4. Under installations, there should be lables for residential single installations, as well as one dedicated to MUD installations.

5. Installations should have labels for Smart LNB installations and other LNB installations.  It may even be a good idea to have a label forQuad/Quattro LNB installations as these are both still suitable to use with Explora switches and the 24-1Z switch.

6. Labels for XtraView installations and Uniview installations might also be a good idea as these are two completely separate installation methods, each with its own set of unique issues.

7. There should also be a label for connections to TVs, via HDMI and AV, as both are still connection options in use.

8. There should be a label for use with RF distribution, even if MC is trying its best to phase this method out.  It is not going to go away for many years to come.
