No worries @krugie , that could cause others confusion as well so best cleared up here, and in more detail than you need ;-)
A username "tag" isn't actually a tag, it's a hyperlink of the type that then alerts the user to its use.
"Tag" refers to the related words we list in that HUGE column on the right, which then links any search of the word(s) to the thread involved.
On the old forum we simply had tags at the bottom of a thread, so not even under let alone next to every post. More than good enough, and many used them when they thought it necessary, and without the need for childish rewards being dangled in their faces and disrupting forum functionality.
Sorry - not meant as a "hijack" but it seems more and more to me that if one doesn't tag a MC person in your post, the chances of getting as reply is slim to almost zero.

This is perhaps the next most important problem that needs fixing on this forum, it's a terrible intrusion / waste of space and makes everything awkward.
Yes, tags are important, but not to the extent that it should override everything else!
