Another look at MC's recommended decoder signal values

For years we've been in agreement in large part with MC re the signal values (Explora) one should expect from an installation;

Strength 80%+ (70%+ for tuner 3), Quality 90%+

This is considered a good setup.

 

However, for a long time we've been aware that values quite a bit lower will still work, at least a good deal of the time. I've never tried to suggest what they could be, but here's something from MC on the Exploras that suggest (based on tuner 1?) Strength of 60% and Quality 75% will do.

(I suggest we cautiously take this as possibly not accurate enough, from a non technical source, unless it can be confirmed.)
