For those unclear, the Explora 1 HB via SLNB is always fine with just a second decoder, just often or always a prob with a third XV decoder involved - which is why it was suggested here to connect the third via a separate HB cable.

Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated.

Bang goes another one of MCs pet stories that you cant get Explora 1s to work with HB fed over the LNB and LNB cables -----

One last point. the HD 5 decoder must be connected to a Unicable port on the SLNB, NOT on a Universal port. The Universal ports do not carry the HB signal, only the Unicable ports.

Re: Using the Aerial King diplexer model "001-M01-017"

According to your original post, you have two Explora 1's in the lounge and one 5S in another room.?

Based on the above the cables are as follows:

Primary Explora 1 in lounge:

ONE cable from the SLNB to the I/O port on the diplexer.

SAT port on the diplexer connected to the LNB port on the primary Explora 1.

Antenna port on diplexer connected to the RF IN port on the Primary Explora 1.

AAnHB cable from the Explora 1 RF OUT port to the RF IN port on the secondary Explora 1 in the lounge.

Secondary Explora 1 in lounge:

ONE SLNB cable DIRECT from the SLNB to the LNB port on the secondary Explora 1.

The HB cable from the Primary Explora 1 on to the RF IN port on the secondary Explora 1.

The 5S:

One cable from the SLNB to the LNB port on the 5S.  All finished.

Re: Using the Aerial King diplexer model "001-M01-017"

Hi Geoff,

I understand step 1 and 2.

Step 3 I am not sure as to where the RF out on explora 1 primary get plug in on the explora 2 secondary as I do have 2 cables from the slnd.

One wil now connect to the diplexer in/out, and the 3nd cable from the slnb???

Dorry for all the trouble snd thank you for your assistance

IN/OUT connected to the cable coming from the SLNB.

SATELLITE connects to the Unicable port on the Explora 1.

ANTENNA connects to the RF IN  port on the Explora 1 assuming that the RF OUT  port is still feeding HB to the local second Explora in the same room.

Hi Geoff.

This is the diplexer that I have. Where should the wires go?

Sorry I am not sure
