Your sketch is correct. Jan will probably pick up on this and provide a diagram that explains it all.

The Explora 3 has no RF port, so the HB signal is normally fed via the SLNB cabling and the SLNB. Then because the series 4 HD decoder cannot receive the HB signal via the Unicable port, it has to be extracted first using a Diplexer (not a duplexer) and then connected to either the RF IN or RF OUT port.

All that is correct in your sketch. All that now remains is for you to :

 

1. Make sure the Explora 3A is connected to port A on the LMX 502Z.

2. Make sure the Explora 3A is set to use decoder 1 network options, which is the default.

3. Make sure either decoder 2 or 3 options are selected for the 4-series decoder.

Need some help on this one i wanna do xtra view with explora3 as primary and hd model4 as secondary using a 2 uniport slnb. every decoder got his wire from lnb  but at the back of the model4 i setup a duplixer for heartbeat and signal
