I didn't make that assumption, this thread addresses all readers.

Anyway, great that you're presumably not one of those who grabs the first carrot offered ;-)

MC did a small survey here a couple of years back, Fox wanted our "permission" to put ads on CU (but just about their content), else they weren't interested in CU...

Most jumped in and said yes please.

Think people.

Re: Ads now interrupting M-Net Movies

I have noticed on the new series on catch up, The Resident-that they have ad breaks, in my opinion, not long, all movies and series on catch up will have break ads.

Seems we going to have to make some decisions in future....premium seems to mean less

Re: Ads now interrupting M-Net Movies

It starts with one ten second interruption. Then it goes to two and eventually the money takes control and the movie becomes secondary. Best to STOP this practice before it gets out of hand. Let this current Jaguar advert run it's course but then NO MORE!!!!!! Whether it be a Jaguar advert or any other kind. It's bad enough having to put up with the sometimes ridiculous and intrusive LOGOS but this advertising during a movie is a NO NO!!

Here's a copy of what I last posted on the old forum about this;

Quote:

M-Net Movies has always had sponsorships elements (straps) on the channels...

Nonsense. Maybe something we've ignored ("tuned-out") on pop-up channels, certainly not on standard movie channels.
If I'm wrong, a well known example please.
