Good day. Reference Dstv e102-29 error case no
44252308-C1. After multiple calls and lots of airtime spent I am seriously considering unsubscribing. Nobody seems able to help. I am paying for a service not delivered.

@GeoffD - the back-end team is looking into this, and should find the root course and correct.

Thanks Grace. The real tragedy is that no one in the call centre could fix this error and were reluctant to refer the fault to a specialist. It turned out that the problem originated from the secondary decoder being incorrectly activated as a HD single view decoder instead of as a PVR.

So what it means is the system does NOT ensure that decoders are correctly identified BEFORE they are activated.

Success! after 5 days! I am back to where I was, with two fully working decoders!

The trick is to get through to someone on the system that actually knows what they are doing.

It took a specialist about 5 minutes to get it all to work as it should!

Thanks Grace. I hope someone realises how serious this latest round of sw screw ups was. I have effectively been unable to use my secondary decoder since Monday 14:00.

Just because there is apparently no one in the call centre empowered to attend to this error.

So hiw about it MC???  On the old forum, this matter would have been attended to long ago!  and fixed!
