Re: New Shows

I appreciate your effort to find out.

Methinks M-Net is starting to reach the edge of a very dangerous cliff.

Re: New Shows

@krugieUnfortunately at this stage there is no guarantee that viewers will be able to watch series that have been chosen as Shomax First. But keep checking, you'll never know *hides*.

Does anyone know more about what's happening with the last season of The Americans?

S6 - 10 episodes

It was already on FX in the States in March and finished at the end of May, apparently one of the best seasons yet.

That's at least 6 months behind, M-Net, come on now... :-(

@krugie-  maybe someone should start a website called series-endings.com, people can vote how cancelled series end.

(Somebody probably did something like that already.)

I will be surprised if there isn't already something like that! Man LOL

It's a bit backwards - you have to only click the Reply button on that post, and then click the quote button.

Doesn't seem to be a way to do multiple quotes. <Roll eyes>

At least with something like Strike the final endings don't matter, it's more serial than a series.

Pity if there won't be more episodes to this series if there's only one more book that's available at this time.

You never know for sure with the studios - especially if they stumble across something that makes money. The Handmaid's Tale is only one book - and pretty much all covered in season 1 - yet we are on season 2 and a 3rd has already been announced. Man LOL

Re: New Shows

Not knowing anything about this actor Tom Burke, although he did look familiar, I assumed that he was a disabled person. To now read that it was special effects that made it seem that way perhaps also makes one realise how well the director and Tom Burke managed to pull this one off. Looked very realistic to me.
