Uruguay went on to book a place in the semi -finals after defeating Ghana 4 – 2 in the penalty shootout.

14:00 – The Fifa World Cup classic between Argentina and Germany during the quarterfinal stage of the tournament. Germany progressed to the semifinal after hammering the Argentinians by 4 goals to nil with 2 goals from Miroslav Klose.

16:00 – The Fifa World Cup classic between Uruguay and the Netherlands during the semi – final stage of the competition. The Netherlands emerged victorious courtesy of a 3 – 2 win over the South Americans. The game will always be remembered for Giovanni van Bronkhorsts long rage missile that flew into the back of Uruguayan goalkeeper Fernando Musleras net.

18:00 - The Fifa World Cup classic which was the final of the 2010 tournament played between the Netherlands and Spain. The Spaniards claimed their first title after an extra time winner from Andres Iniesta.

20:45 – The Fifa film called “The Journey - Stories from the 2010 World Cup.” Told by the people of the Rainbow Nation, this film recounts key moments from the 2010 Fifa World Cup in South Africa, highlighting the impact and legacy of an event that symbolized how far the country has come.

06:00 – The Fifa Movie “Futebol Arte” - A documentary that follows the narrative of the 1982 Fifa World Cup when Brazils legendary team failed to win the title despite capturing the hearts of fans worldwide.

07:00 – The Fifa Movie “ The Top 20 Fifa World Cup Moments.” This show counts down in reverse order, the top 20 Fifa World Cup moments of all time. Spanning 1930 – 2002, eighteen tournaments in 76 years of competition have produced many thrilling and memorable moments.

The quarterfinals includes Germany’s penalty shootout victory Argentina as well as Portugal’s shootout victory over England. The semi – finals are remembered for Italy’s upset over hosts Germany in extra time with goals from Fabio Grosso and Alessandro Del Piero and Frances narrow 1 – 0 win over Portugal. The final was won by Italy who overcame France in a penalty shootout with the winning penalty scored by Fabio Grosso . This game will always be remembered for the infamous headbutt of Zinedine Zidane toward Italian defender Marco Materazzi.

09:00 – The Fifa Movie “Brasil”. A lookback at the 2014 Fifa World Cup from the perspective of the hosts Brazil. A true life natural piece of work reflecting real Brazilians during the tournament as they follow the fortunes of the Brazilian National Team.

15:00 -The Fifa World Cup Story called “Africa Odyssey.” A show that focuses on the spectacular rise of African football on the World Cup Stage. From the difficult early lessons of the 1970’s to the emergence of the dazzling skills and flair of Cameroon, Morocco and Senegal.

15:30 - The Fifa World Cup Story called “World Cup Shocks.” This episode highlights the most surprising and shocking results in Fifa World Cup history from North Korea’s humbling of the mighty Italy in 1966 to Cameroon’s explosive entrance onto the world stage in 1990 with victory over Argentina.

16:00 – The Fifa World Cup Story called “Golden Boot Legends.” A feature on every Fifa World Cup Golden Boot winner. This show highlights the impact of Ronaldo, Gerd Muller, Paulo Rossi, Davor Sukur and Gary Linekar.

10:00 and 20:20 – The Fifa World Cup game during the quarterfinals of the 2010 edition of the tournament between The Netherlands and Brazil. The Dutch upset the Brazilians by 2 goals to 1 courtesy of a Wesley Sneijder brace.
