In all honesty, I've pretty much given up on this forum and only visited this thread today as I still had email notifications for these replies. My last attempts at interaction here, many months ago, were about films with non-English parts not having the subtitles (that are present on DVDs, blurays and elsewhere), so films like Stargate, The Longest Day, etc, become pretty much unwatchable. I wrote a long post here about it, and every time it would disappear shortly after posting. Eventually I think I posted here about what was happening and one of the staff in this thread insisted they welcomed my feedback and it wasn't deliberate that my posts were disappearing. Nothing was done about sorting out the subtitles or taking it up with the distributor if necessary, when I reported the issue on Twitter the 'customer care team' told me that's how the films come and there's nothing they can do about it. So my takeaway as someone who still spends a fair bit of money on a Premium subscription each month is that: - They aren't too bothered if their paying customers spend a long time submitting feedback only for it to 'disappear', certainly not caring enough to restore the posts or sort out the forum issue if there is one. Not how I'd want to treat customers but each to their own. - They don't mind that they are broadcasting content, that they've bought the rights to, lacking something as basic yet important as subtitles for non-English parts. Guess the frustration this causes customers isn't enough for someone to actually do a bit of work, escalate if necessary and resolve the problem. I do miss the forum and the interactions with some of you, it was good while it lasted. And occasionally we even got responses that in my opinion helped Multichoice improve their service. Just about every night now I notice the EPG is packed with factual errors and amateurish spelling/grammer mistakes and think how I might have posted them on a thread in the old forum. No point here though, they'd just be deleted or ignored. Nobody seems to care about improving the service at this point. And yet there are more competitors rising all the time. Best wishes to those who are still here and reading this.
